The SESCS organizes various training activities (courses, seminars, etc.) aimed at healthcare professionals on health services research and health technologies. These activities are designed to provide knowledge, skills, and abilities that promote evidence-based decision-making and practice.
The SESCS regularly hosts scientific visits from healthcare professionals to contribute to their training in evidence-based practice and to enhance their knowledge in the area of health services and technology assessment research. Additionally, some SESCS members are part of the teaching staff in various programs, diplomas, and master’s degrees at several Spanish universities (University of La Laguna, European University of the Canary Islands, Universidad Fernando Pessoa-Canarias, Alfonso X El Sabio University, etc.) and serve as mentors for residents in specialized health training, including Family and Community Medicine, Preventive Medicine and Public Health, Clinical Pharmacology, and Pediatric Nursing.
