The Evaluation Service of the Canary Islands Health Service (SESCS) has methodologically coordinated the update of the Clinical Practice Guideline on Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus.
The guideline is part of the SNS Clinical Practice Guideline Program, coordinated by Guíasalud, and is published in 2026 after addressing a 14-year gap in scientific and technological advances in the management of Type 1 Diabetes.
Funded by the Ministry of Health through RedETS, this update contributes to improving equity, healthcare quality, and patient safety across the Spanish National Health System.
