Objectives:

Advance in several methodological challenges of clinical practice guidelines (CPGs), specifically: the evaluation and incorporation of economic evidence (EC), the development of decision-making frameworks for multiple comparisons, and the adaptation of CPGs. In the field of EC, we will develop methodologies to assess the quality of evidence as well as presentation formats. Regarding multiple comparisons, we aim to develop a specific framework. Finally, in the field of CPG adaptation, we will develop methodological principles and a checklist for adapted guidelines.

Methodology:

Building on the prior work of our group, we will use various methodologies (brainstorming, design, surveys, user evaluations, focus groups, and real-world scenario evaluations) to develop tools and methodologies in the aforementioned areas.
